Active Confectionery’s in-house engineering team has been building chocolate machines since 1979 and have collaborated with some of the largest worldwide chocolate and candy manufacturers to make highly difficult and complex chocolate articles. With over 40 years of chocolate experience, our team has led many innovative and nationally recognized chocolate products. Our specialty is chocolate molding – with flavors and inclusions. We have flow wrapping and envelope wrapping for chocolate bars, including the world standard 100-gram bar format featuring heat sealed foil.
We are leaders in building proprietary chocolate molding machinery, including cold-press hollow molding technology. We have both high production and artisan molding capability. In addition to molding, we have artisan enrobing for product development and smaller production quantities.
Gelatin & Pectin
We’re building a facility dedicated to CBD and nutraceutical gummy manufacturing. We are available immediately for product development and recipe formulation. Production will come on-line in the second half of 2020. We will offer both small and large-scale gummy production using conventional starch molding equipment. Starch molding offers the most flexibility with recipes and ingredients. Molding in starch is the most widely used method of producing gummy candy.
Our small, artisan scale production produces about 50,000 to 350,000 pieces per 8-hour shift, while our large, industrial scale production can produce from 500,000 to 3,800,000 pieces per shift.
